We went to Platta on Friday to celebrate my husbands birthday and we had a lovely time. Great gluten free options. We both had the Chicken Gyros which were delicious. Portion sizes were great and the quality of the chicken was excellent. I had a gluten free brownie which was amazing. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The Blue Monkey Ales are a superb addition to the drinks menu (even offering a gluten free option)! We will definitely be returning soon.
Booked one of there pods for a birthday brunch ,fantastic food and great service ,had the platter breakfast,followed by cornflake tart and custard,definitely recommend this place
Myself and two friends had the festive afternoon tea the other day, the food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the booth was a great experience! We really enjoyed every minute. Thank you Vanessa and team. Merry Christmas
Lovely place, clean and modern, lovely staff and fantastic food. Had an adult breakfast and a child’s breakfast and both were presented lovely and tasted delicious. Latte was lovely… not over priced. Definitely going to return and would highly recommend.
Went for breakfast and had a salad. We had a little trip out to to check it out. Unfortunately there was a road closure on our route, which made us just too late for breakfast. So lunch it is then. It was a very warm day and we sat outside on their terrace seating. The choices are various sandwiches with different breads or jacket potatoes,soup or quiche. As tempting as they were,we chose off the Specials menu. Thai Salmon Salad £11.95 Chicken & Bacon Salad £11.95 They were prepared fresh and very healthy looking plates. What could we have to rectify not having a fry up? They had just introduced a Strawberries & Cream brioche sandwich £4. Wonder where that idea came from? It was full of fresh whipped cream and strawberries. You can also have it with a Pimm's & Lemonade for £7.95 and visualize you are at Wimbledon. But we are driving so had coffee with ours. The staff are lovely and friendly at this independent family run cafe. On Fridays & Saturdays they turn into a bar and bistro. We shall have to return either earlier for breakfast or later to try the bistro menu.

We visited for the first time today, I wanted to go somewhere different for my aunts birthday treat. We was not disappointed with the brunch we ordered. Everything was very fresh and tasty, the service was excellent and we was very impressed with the decor. We can't wait to return, I highly recommend
